Hockey Betting

Hockey Betting General Rules

The game becomes official (action) after 55 minutes of play.

Goals scored during overtime are included for wagers on the game, but are not included on wagers for the 3 rd period.

If a game requires a shoot-out to determine the winner, One goal will be awarded to the winner for the final score (regardless of how many goals scored in the shoot-out) which will be recognized for the total goals scored as well as the winning team.

NHL Betting Periods
The full 20 minutes of the period must be played to have action.

Betting on Hockey

We offer 3 different types of lines for Hockey; The Canadian Line, American Line (Puck Line), and Straight Money Lines. All customers must choose between either Canadian or American Lines when he/she first sets up their sports betting account.

Hockey Betting | Canadian Line
The Canadian line is a combination of a goal and money line. The money line is a 20 cent line for straight bets.

Example:
Boston Bruins +1/2 -140
L.A. Kings -1/2 +120

• If betting on the Kings the customer would give-up half a goal and would risk $100 to win $120, the Kings must win by at least one goal. If betting on the Bruins the customer would get half a goal but would risk $140 to win $100.

Hockey Betting | American Line
The American Line (Puck Line) is similar to the Canadian Line except, generally there is no juice (vigorish) involved, but involves a „gap“ in the goal line.

Example:
Boston Bruins +1 even
L.A. Kings -1½ even

• In this example, the Kings must win by at least 2 goals for you to win that wager. On the other hand, if you choose the Bruins, they must at least tie, for you to win.

Hockey Betting | Money Line
All money line options are prices to win the game outright, regardless of a point spread with a tie being a „push“.

Example:
Boston Bruins +110
L.A. Kings -130

• If you select the Bruins to win the game, betting $100 would win you $110. If you select the Kings to win, you would need to risk $130 to win $100.

Hockey Betting | Totals Over/Under

Example:
Bruins +1/2 -140 5 OVER -130
Kings -1/2 +120

• As well as having favorites on sides you also have favorites on totals, in this example over the total of five goals is indicated as the favorite in which case the customer would lay $130 to win $100. If betting on the game to go under five goals the customer goes with the underdog so he/she receives a larger return in this case risking $100 to win $110. If there is no money line indicated the total has a “FLAT” line or -110 whether betting over or under, in which case the customer would lay $110 to win $100 either way. When you wager on total pucks, if the score falls on the number in this case five, it will be “no action”.

Hockey Parlays Betting
With hockey parlays you can combine anywhere from 2 to 8 teams into a single wager resulting in higher betting payouts as in baseball parlays. Note: Hockey parlays are calculated as they are in baseball.

Over the Internet, Parlays are limited to 6 teams, and also to a specific pay-out:

2 Team Parlay Maximum Payout $1900
3 Team Parlay Maximum Payout $1900
4 Team Parlay Maximum Payout $1900
5 Team Parlay Maximum Payout $4900
6 Team Parlay Maximum Payout $4900

Any pay-out that exceeds these limits, will not be honored, and will be limited to the specifications listed above.

Note: Any duplication of a particular bet, if it exceeds the maximum payout, the wager will not be honored.

All props will be graded 2-4 hours after the event is completed.
